Every time i try to start FFX i get this

ok updated Direct X now unless i completely turn the audio off it crashes.

That's weird, just to make sure you tried different modules on the SPU2-X configuration?

something could have went wrong in the directx update, try updating again and if nothing changes try downloading the march 2009 directx runtime/redistributable and install it...
