ok did you try using this cdvd plugin i think its from the iso plugin here try this
Still no response. When using the CDVDnull driver the controller works in the PS2 interface but the game will not load.
The only other games I have are Playstation one, and when I tried running them the whole emulator crashes.
It must be the ISO i have of Dark Cloud 2. I grabbed my DVD version of Final Fantasy 12 and it works fine.
