Stuck because of a bug... Xploder cheats on PCSX2?
#1
Hello, I've created a bug report thread: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Bug-Repor...#pid334185
and since today I haven't found a solution therefore I decided to use some cheats..
I found these cheats for Time splitters 3:
http://xs.xploder.net/xploder/xploderui....ab=gc&vn=5
Now a person redirected me to this thread:
http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Multi-Con...-much-more
But I've no clue how to use it...
The code I want to use is the last one, to unlock all the levels so I can go on..
This is Xploder V5:
7601CE50 00000000
282AC1F1 6538883E
282AC1F2 6059E2D4
282A082B 6538883E
282A08FF 6059E266

This is Xploder V4:
282AC1F1 6538883E
282AC1F2 6059E2D4
282A082B 6538883E
282A08FF 6059E266

Thanks in advance for your help.

In order to convert non-raw codes to pnach format, read a guide A simplistic guide to pnach files.

Omniconvert settings:
Input -> Xploder -> Version 4 or Version 5+
Output -> Unencrypted -> Standard

Also, no need Enable Code(or Master Code) for emulators.

Xploder v4/5 to RAW:
20306A38 200EFFFF
20306A3C ADEE0BF4
203067A8 200EFFFF
203067AC ADEE0BFC

PNACH format:
patch=1,EE,20306A38,extended,200EFFFF
patch=1,EE,20306A3C,extended,ADEE0BF4
patch=1,EE,203067A8,extended,200EFFFF
patch=1,EE,203067AC,extended,ADEE0BFC

Apparently it ignores the first one in v5 since that seems to be a specific 'verifier' code for that device that isn't needed for RAW/PNACH codes.

It only took me about ~20 minutes to read the entire guide on codes and such, but I understand some people aren't as technically-proficient to understand all the geek-speak. It is a useful skill to understand and will help you out later on when you need to make your own cheats. Smile

There you go. Sometimes the tools aren't intuitive but it never hurts to try it out. A lot faster than posting Smile

Thanks a lot! I got it working and me and my friend are now going to finish the story mode haha Smile
The funny thing is that I finished this game back in 2005 when it first came out, so many memories...
Thanks again!

No problem! Again if you dedicate about 20 minutes to reading through the OmniConvert program help/guide, you'll be able to convert and use your own codes very easily. All you really need to do is replace the actual hexadecimal stuff (both of them) and keep the rest of it in the same way I did.
