when I loaded the MGS2 ISO, it identified it as SLUS_205.54

i believe that is serial to MGS2 Substance..so according to compability list the status is nothing

Yes, I know for a fact that I was running Sons of Liberty, and not Substance, what should I do, upload a picture of the DVD?

Yes I do believe there is something wrong if you are swearing to have the game you don't seem to have...
I also mentioned it earlier but it could be a problem with your BIOS, after all you have the first japanese one that is not really recommended to use.

But anyway, since you don't seem to even know what game you have I'm done here. Maybe you're just not meant to play the game, good luck
