Pcsx2 r-3113 doesn't work
#1
No matter what I do, no matter what bios I try, how I setup my pcsx2 it WON'T WORK. I ALWAYS get that "insert a ps2 disc" bull. and right before it does that it always says something like "Issuing EE/iR5900-32 Recompiler Reset" this is pissing me off.

Mind your language when asking for support. That always helps.

You have a problem with your CDVD configuration most likely.
Post a screenshot of the console output when you start a game and you get that PS2 screen.

Sorry, I just used to use this all the time when I played my PS2 games more often because I could never get my hands on my PS2 as it was always locked in my brothers room. Just a little frustrated it didn't work as easily as I used to be able to get it to.

Games installed in C:\Program Files or it's x86 akin or any specially protected folder like documents or desktop is "Always" bad news. Even if your actual problem may not be related something else will happen later...

Most of times the issues with ISOs are due to the user Mounting them on a virtual driver and choosing "Iso" instead "Plugin" in the GUI, and yet this is the worse way to use the feature on Vista or seven.

Try unmounting any game image from any virtual or physical driver; select the ISO from the "Browse" function in the GUI and tick "Iso".

Alternatively you do the same as above but select the ISO on "linuz Iso plugin" and make sure to chose "Plugin" and NOT "Iso" in the GUI.

In either way start the game with "Boot CDVD (fast)".

But, before all that, do a favor for yourself, uninstall the game from that NonBlessed C:\Program Files and install it on a folder you create, something like C:\Games\PCSX2 will do the trick nicely. Seize the new learned knowledge and avoid installing any game, even the PC ones in that folder, you'll spare yourself from many headaches.

I usually install in like, my G drive as I have 4 partitions (one windows cannot see as I have my linux OS on it but windows is needed for most games) But whats really wrong with installing in the C drive? I think Crysis may have forced me to install it there, maybe I was just being lazy xD

I also tried everything you just mentioned, and still didn't work. Does the same thing showing me that annoying "please insert a PS2 disk"

Meh, nevermind, apparently "PowerISO" was going "HERP A DERPA" when I was trying to get the ISO from the disk, I grabbed DVD Decrypter from my laptop (what I used to use just had to find it) and it works fine now. PowerISO was giving me like, 700mb of the 1.2gb game x.x
