Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix Crash problem
#11
My last memcard save was when I first started the game, so I am working my way back to the same point. Will see if it works.

i've been playing Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix lately, and i'm having the exact same problem here, i tried alot of things, tons of settings, nothing works so far, but i encountered similar problems with other games, and i can almost ensure this is because of the GS plugin, one of them must definitly work proprely, but which one, and what setting....
if anyone came up with something that can help, plz your suggestions are welcomed, thx in advance

ok guys, the problem was because of the graphic plugin after all, i just tried changing the GS plugin to : GSdx 890(MSVC 15.00,SSSE3) 0.1.14[GSdx-ssse3]. other settings doesn't matter i guess, but the main point ; it got over that video and didn't crush, now i'm playing normally(after that video appears a menu with sora, donald and goofy). don't waste your time, IT IS because of the GS plugin. problem solved, cheers, HIGH FIVE Laugh !

I'm now having the same problem, I'm using pcsx2 7. I removed all speed hacks, changed the graphics, nothing working. Anyone have any ideas?

Wink
It isn't the graphics driver. But it will matter if your not using the most compatiable driver for your computer. It's the savestates. I had the same problem, but used ps2 memory card and it worked fine. Also turn off speed hacks, cheats, and patches. It should work.
i used
-GSDx SSE41
-Hardware
-Native
It worked for me

dont use save states to "Save" your gameplay... always use the mem card and use save states for like a quick save before a boss...

Hello, decided to bump this instead of making a new one.

I'm currently encountering this same problem with KH2:FM on 0.9.6, 0.9.7, and 0.9.8 (was hoping this would fix it) Sad. Sometimes when I simply pause it to go to the menu it freezes and gives me this.

It happens random and I thought the iso could have been the issue but I was wrong. Now, I'm to the point where Sora wakes up and I can't skip the cut scene, as previously mentioned. I've tried all the different GS plug ins, but no luck. Also, I don't ever use hacks.

Could it simply be a "compatibility" issue? Anyone having same issues?

Is it a modified version of final mix? like an undub or something?

It is a patched (english menus) version.

Software mode doesn't work either. blah

Now I got a new code, if it helps.

repeating of course.

Edit: upon further googling, it seems that the issue might be the patch itself =/. I'll see if I can get a clean version and try that instead.

The english patch IS the problem. I just backed up my original FM image and no crashes so far.

Thanks!
