windows 7 64 bit and socom confrontation

Has anyone found a good config for this game to run on? My problem is that when i run the actual game and actually get to a rendered area it runs slow and choppy. I have a q6600 and an ati 5850 . Any help is appreciated.

Simply put your CPU is too slow at it's default speed (2.4ghz) for most full 3d PS2 games, including this one. If possible you should look into overclocking your CPU to get it above the 3ghz mark... Otherwise the best you can expect is to use the speed hacks that come with PCSX2 and tough out the slow parts.
