Onimusha Blade Warriors Extreme Lag
#1
Hello!

I have a lot of trouble trying to run Onimusha Blade Warriors on the latest version of PCSX2

Other games I've been playing such as Saint Seiya the Hades and Devil May Cry run smoothly, no problems at all.

I've read multiple threads with solutions and after trying them out, I haven't gotten anywhere, first the black screen, then the intro running smoothly then the 1 frame damned game.

I will now proceed to try out with an older PCSX2 Version, so my question is, what should I try now, how, and/or can I actually succeed with an earlier version?

Note: I have both PAL and NTSC versions of the game, both respond the same faulty way

Oh right, I forgot those!

I'm running an AMD A8-4500M with a Radeon HD 7640G on a 64 bit Win 8
the Emulator shows a (what I assume) fake FPS read of 60 and a very minimum use of EE.

I have tried different combos with the video plugins, AVX is my main choice, and it seems just a tiny bit of nothing more responsive on this game, using the Native resolution also ensures the game always starts, a dif resolution barely ever starts it, I have disabled clamping and tried ways around with gamefixes and hack speeds but it remains the same.

What speed hacks are u using and what are they set at?

Try decreasing them. Speedhacks can cause a game to slow down rather than speed up.

What does the EE% and the GS% say at the top?

I usually run all 3 recommended ones but I have tried enabling and disabling them completely, same result

Whenever the game FINALLY feels like running something, this appears up on the log:

EE/iR5900-32 Recompiler Reset
(R5900) Re-executed ELF Entry point (ignored) [addr=0x00280008]
(R5900) Re-executed ELF Entry point (ignored) [addr=0x00280008]

I just tried out version 0.9.8 with no changes :/

EE is between 60-70% and GS is on stable 0% as the game just went to the black screen, lemme check in game what it says

Great, now I cant get past the black screen and the log keeps saying this,
