This problem has been discussed before. So here's what happens to me:
An unhandled or unrecoverable exception occurred, with the message:
bad allocation
Pcsx2 will now close. More details may be available via the emuLog.txt file.
PCSX2 0.9.6 - compiled on Feb 27 2009
Savestate version: 8b400004
x86Init:
CPU vendor name = GenuineIntel
FamilyID = 4
x86Family = Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.80GHz
CPU speed = 2.836 Ghz
Cores = 1 physical [2 logical]
x86PType = Standard OEM
x86Flags = bfebfbff 0000441d
x86EFlags = 00000000
Features:
Detected MMX
Detected SSE
Detected SSE2
Detected SSE3
Not Detected SSSE3
Not Detected SSE4.1
This is when the Bad Allocation Error Occurs
The strange thing about the problem I'm having is that I could successfully load up pcsx2 before. Now, I can't seem to get 5 seconds away from starting it up. There have been no upgrades from previous versions either. I was using 0.9.6.
This happened after I switched a few things around for my configuration so it's evidently my fault. I switched up everything that could be switched up, yeah really stupid of me, I know, this is my punishment. But I can't seem to get my head around the problem. Many of the previous offered solutions don't seem to pertain to my problem.
