Yeah I made some suggestions for pnach handling. But it's not a priority case right now.
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.60~4.20 GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200
MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Super @ 6 GB | Samsung 980 1TB | Windows 10 Pro x64 (22H2)

there is more to action replay max than just cheat codes
sioWriteMemcard cmd: 43??
sioWriteStart cmd: AE??
is used when writing power saves and formatting memory cardsĀ
then there is the dvd region x that displays no dvd player found
the on disc media player works and updates can be downloaded from the internet with dev9 but not saved

What does writing power saves and formatting memcards mean/include?
Formatting memcards is possible in pcsx2 and the bios. Where is the point 3rd party software is needed?
So is there a feature other than cheats (which are replaced by pnachs) that could be useful for pcsx2 users?

Saves stored on the disc are stored in .max that are compressed for them to be used they need to be uncompressed in memory then written to the memory card
The ps2 bios uses erase to format the memory card when you can do the same with write (e.g load and store are just moves)
Usbqemu does not detect my usb storage (action replay max can support any size usb)
version 2 had more cheats and saves added to the disc but removed the instant messiging and media player
has anyone made a pnatch to remove the region check or make the hdd visibleĀ from ps2 bios (0.pnatch) or by making custom ps2 updates stored on the memory card
