I found the menu.....I must have had a blonde moment for a little while...
Everytime I get it to boot the ISO nothing happens. I get a white screen with an FPS count, that's all,
Could you run the game from the terminal and attach the log from there? Also, the CPU strength is very low for this emulator. Linux version still is pretty much SW mode only for now. My i3 2100 still doesn't even get full speed except for just FFX. Anyways...if this is a laptop, you are probably relying on the graphics from the CPU. And if that's the case, Intel doesn't yet have OpenGL > 3.3 support yet to properly render the graphics yet for GSdx.
Thanks for the reply. I got it running tonight when I downloaded from the ppa.
I didn't know the command to install pcsx2 after I'd added the ppa and updated.....
Maybe it could be added to the webpage that offers the instructions on adding the ppa???
For anyone who is in the same boat I was in the command is:
sudo apt-get install pcsx2-unstable
It is very slow and to be honest, unplayable but I've given it a go and until I can upgrade my PC I'll have to leve it alone.
Excellent job, respect and kudos to the guy who wrote wrote pcsx2, many thanks for your hard work but I can't use it at the moment.
