Hi, i have the Crash dvd and wanted to give it a test with PCSX2

i used
0.9.6
and
0.9.7 r3878

and in both the PCSX2 crashes after the Checking Memory Card screen:

what may i do to fix this problem ?

PCSX2 settings? Plugin settings? Content of emulog.txt after you get the crash?

does PCSX have any option to give the user the info needed to be posted on forums for debugging purposes? if not that might be a Todo for the dev team

Use GSDX not ZeroGS, also try changing GSDX to software mode. It may not fix it, but worth a go.

i have tried many other options, as well as GSDX , but i yet get the crash.

That screenshot barely shows the plugins you used and it's from PCSX2 0.9.6. Please take screenshots of your emulation and plugin settings with the 0.9.7 version and make sure you post the emulog.txt with the PCSX2 0.9.7 beta as well.

the snaps of 0.9.7 beta:
please download the attached archive, sorry but the snaps are about 10 and i found no software to make them into a large image .

in 0.9.7 r3876 , it just reads something from the DVD and then crashes, i don't even get the intro screen and the memory checking screen.

if you are running from the DVD please set the mode to "plugin" rather than ISO and select the drive, IOPRP300.IMG is NOT an ISO.

oh...so !

i chose the plugin option from the cdvd menu and it opened the game and everything went OK!
however the fps was avg 20, which is not playable...however it was a nice experience. thank you all.
