I'm using a bluetooth 4.0 dongle with Windows 8.1, and when I try to add the device, I get the error message "no pairing response received". I've tried 2 different dongles, one with bluetooth 3.0, I've tried resetting the controller after using it with a cable, but it won't ever pair. Any ideas on how to sort this?Did you press and hold the Share + PS button at the same time? That's how initiate pairing with the DS4. LED light should flash rapidly when you do it. Options + PS button to disconnect and once controller has already been paired, simply press the PS button to reconnect/turn on.
I have managed to get some info of what might be wrong using event viewer . No ideea what it means though:

Hey first off all, thx for great program.
On my second computer which i use for steam in house streaming I have Windows XP installed. Can i run this tool? when i try'ed it did not started and in supported win version is listed Vista, 7, 8. So XP are not supported? Is there some workaround which i can try to make it run or there is no hope?

I installed DS4Windows and all the required software, made sure everything was up-to-date and it all worked perfectly until one day I turn it on and it works in some games but not in others. It no longer works in Skyrim (I haven't changed any settings) and I've reinstalled the program, cleared any settings etc... nothing seems to work. I do however get this error sometimes but don't know what it means

Moe: [to Homer] And I'm pulling your favorite song out of the jukebox.
Homer: "It's Raining Men"?! Moe: Yeah, not no more, it ain't. [throws the record out the window which lands into Smithers' car] Smithers: Ow! [looks at the record] Ohhh. what would ;e; do

I also noticed the Settings tab didn't say "Settings" it was just blank, it still had all the options like hide the DS4 but no settings name at the top I still get the same error message sometimes and I think that is what is causing the issue See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): Access is denied at System.Diagnostics.ProcessManager.OpenProcess(Int32 processId, Int32 access, Boolean throwIfExited) at System.Diagnostics.NtProcessManager.GetModuleInfos(Int32 processId, Boolean firstModuleOnly) at System.Diagnostics.Process.get_Modules() at DS4Windows.DS4Form.hideDS4CheckBox_CheckedChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.CheckBox.set_CheckState(CheckState value) at System.Windows.Forms.CheckBox.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.CheckBox.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ************** Loaded Assemblies ************** mscorlib Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34209 built by: FX452RTMGDR CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.NET/Framework64/v4.0.30319/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- DS4Windows Assembly Version: 1.4.242.0 Win32 Version: 1.4.242 CodeBase: file:///C:/Users/Charlie/Desktop/DS4Windows.-.J2K.v1.4.241/DS4Windows.exe ---------------------------------------- System Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34238 built by: FX452RTMGDR CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Windows.Forms Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34209 built by: FX452RTMGDR CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Windows.Forms/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Windows.Forms.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Drawing Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34209 built by: FX452RTMGDR CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Drawing/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Drawing.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Xml Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34234 built by: FX452RTMGDR CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Xml/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Xml.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Configuration Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34209 built by: FX452RTMGDR CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Configuration/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Configuration.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Management Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34209 built by: FX452RTMGDR CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Management/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Management.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Core Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34209 built by: FX452RTMGDR CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Core/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/System.Core.dll ---------------------------------------- Microsoft.CSharp Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34209 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/Microsoft.CSharp/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/Microsoft.CSharp.dll ---------------------------------------- System.Dynamic Assembly Version: 4.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34209 CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_MSIL/System.Dynamic/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a/System.Dynamic.dll ---------------------------------------- Anonymously Hosted DynamicMethods Assembly Assembly Version: 0.0.0.0 Win32 Version: 4.0.30319.34209 built by: FX452RTMGDR CodeBase: file:///C:/Windows/Microsoft.Net/assembly/GAC_64/mscorlib/v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089/mscorlib.dll ---------------------------------------- ************** JIT Debugging ************** To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this application or computer (machine.config) must have the jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
