I have the NTSC version of it and i don't encounter this problem.
Try re-ripping your game disk and also check it for scratches/clean it.
L.E: Also tried fiddling with the settings to try and reproduce the problem but to no avail.

Try making a new ISO from the Original Disc, this time with
ImgBurn. Could also try running it from the Original Disc with cdvdGigaherz plugin (tick the "Plugin" option under the CDVD menu)..

Are you sure that it's a problem with the Game and not the emulator or my BIOS?
I would hate to go through the ordeal of getting the ISO again...

You just put the disc in your dvd drive and click a button on imgburn...since it works for other users yes it is a problem of your iso.

I doubt this is the iso. At this point all the game code is loaded.
My copy of the game works perfectly fine.
Maybe you could try to run a different game and do a save there first, then run DC2 again.
