As the subject says... when for example versus mode loads... im experiencing slowdowns at the framerate of 55 which is strange. I play GoW 1 and 2 at that fps, and it runs perfect... any suggestions? Thanks.

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
• Any non default settings you are using.
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

There's your problem.

Speedhacks cause False fps. Disable the VU Cycle Stealing.

Try EE Cyclerate to 2 and VU Cycle Stealing of 1.

Maxerd out Speedhacks may cause graphical glitches and false fps, and sometimes slowdowns instead of speedup.

May try disabling the MTVU Hack too. It may cause slowdown on dual-cores.
