'Error Opening CDVD Plugin'
#1
Hi, I've just tried to run pcsx2 for the first time. I'm trying to run FFX.

When I tried to load the fame, this message popped up- 'Error Opening CDVD Plugin'.

On the black screen it reads (in red)

Plugin Load failure: plugins\ZeroGS.dll
SysLibError Message: <Null>
Plugin Load failure: C:\Program Files\Pcsx2\plugins\ZeroGS.dll
SysLibError Message: <Null>

It then comes up with
Resetting...
Ready
Bios Version 1.60

Then another red message

rom1 NOT FOUND

rom2 NOT FOUND

erom NOT FOUND

Framelimiter rate updated (UpdateVSync Rate): 59.94 fps
*CDVD: Opening drive '\\.ZD:'...
*CDVD: Error Opening drive.
Resetting..
Ready

It repeats the last part several times.

I'm using a acer Aspire 5735 laptop with windows vista, I'm not sure what specs you are supposed to post when asking for help here.. actually I don't know much technical jargon, I'm sorry.
All I know is that its supposed to be quite powerful for a laptop. If you need to know specifics I can read them off the label but I don't really know what they meanSad

I have pcsx2 running with Graphics: GSdx (MSVC 15.00, SSECs) 0.1.14
Sound SPU2-X 1.1.0
Controller LilyPad 0.9.9
Cdvdrom Gigaherz'x CDVD Plugin 0.7.0
Dev9 DEV9null Driver 0.3.0
Usb USBnull Driver 0.5.0
FireWIre FW Driver 0.4.0

Basically, I'm running it as it came.

I should also say at this point, the disc is a little scratched- I don't think that the problem is my PC being unable to read it as it appears in the My Computer ok, but it could be the problem

For the ZeroGS error try updating your DirectX, for the disc problem try making an ISO of the disc with ImbBurn and run it with the Linuz ISO cdvd plugin.

Also try the latest beta:
