with ee x3.0 it will.

I have 2.2 and run it with x1.5 and get close to 35 usually.

To get better results in almost every game on PCSX2 you need better CPU, not so much GPU power.

But Final Fantasy XII is one of a few games that requires a better GPU. It is GPU limited (means that your GPU is limiting the game to run faster), contrary to most PS2 games that are CPU limited (on PCSX2)

The GPU is enough to play FFXII on native.

The cpu is the problem, not the gpu here. Jeez.

Have you ever considiered that your CPU is weak, too?

Well, it's my last post in this thread, because it's OT but:

I have a 280gtx, and when I play FFXII I get mostly of the time 55fps+.

There was a time, when I used a slower cpu. AMD @ 2.4 ghz. (Not oced).

It's true that FFXII is gpu limited to an extend but not only. A good cpu is a must have. Not everywhere tho, but with a low cpu you won't get stable fps which are playable and fun.

To come back to my old amd, the difference in speed with the same gpu is big. Really big. A new cpu would help you solve your speed issue. Not only for FFXII.

It's nice for you, that you can run Tekken with 30 fps. But hey, I won't care, and the guy who started the thread won't care. Considering it as spam, I don't wanted to offend you. But maybe it's better to keep spam out of threads. Jeez, now I'm spamming here, too.

30 FPS is not really fun speed, but if you can bear with it I'm glad for you.

2.2 ghz - or less - is to slow for good ps2 Emulation.
