GS Plugin Failed
#1
Error message: "GS plugin failed to open. Your computer may have insufficient resources, or incompatible hardware/drivers."

Hey guys, I've searched around before posting here. I've seen similar posts, but their solutions did not work for me.

Specs
OS: Windows 10, 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i7-4700HW 2.40 GHz
Video Card: Nvidia GTX 860m
Ram: 8GB

Note: I have already installed "DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)" to no affect.

All insight greatly welcomed, thank you.

did you get any error when doing so ?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

No errors during install of the above Direct X software.

You don't have VC++ redist 2015 installed
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...24fa6=True

Install both just to be sure

Note: latest git is broken and failed to open the gs. (in case you use git)

By "latest" do you mean 401 or some older rev.
I don't get any error messages but no matter what I try to run(game or the bios),this is the only thing I get and pcsx2 freeze(I have to kill the process)

Code:
(pxEvtQueue:PauseCoreThread) Posting event! (pending=0, idle=0)
(pxEvtQueue:PauseCoreThread) Executing... [Cancelable]
(pxEvtQueue:SysExecute) Posting event! (pending=0, idle=0)

PS This version of PCSX2 was downloaded from here 1.4.0 not GIT http://pcsx2.net/download/releases/windows.html

I have downloaded an older version 1.2.1 and it works without issue! Looks like a 1.4.0 bug.

Are you sure it's configured correctly?

Your emulog doesn't even show the use of a BIOS
