Delete ZeroGS dll from your plugin folder, not like you're gonna use it ever anyway
But how can I solve the problem with the directX update thingy ? :< and I cannot delete ZeroGs.dll completely anyway, after delete it, when I run the program, it will automatically create that file anyway

Uh the program does not create dll files on its' own...
You never mentioned you had directX errors. You need to download and install the latest DirectX, use the updater: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...6652CD92A3&displaylang=en

so i tried opening up Persona 4 with Pcsx2 on my windows 7 x64. I open up Pcsx2 (as administrator) and went to File-> Run DVD/CD. I had already read the previous posts and made sure to configure everything correctly several times, but was still treated with this lovely message in my command prompt (taken from emuLog.txt) :

Pcsx2 will now close. More details may be available via the emuLog.txt file." anyway to get this working? any and all help would be much appreciated

Without providing your settings and plugins used (their settings too) no, we can't help.

Are you running the game from an actual DVD disc? If not, make sure your ISO image is created properly. I recommend using the free tool imgburn (get it here )
Having an issue resulting in the same error message as OP.
Whenever I attempt to update Direct X I receive the attached error. Is this because I am already running the current version or another issue? If I refuse the update I of course receive the "An unhandled or unrecoverable exception occurred, with the message: The GS plugin failed to open/initialize. Pcsx2 will now close. More details may be available via the emuLog.txt file." message. Also attached is my settings and specifications. I'm not knowledgeable about this and just kept everything default. Likely I'm missing something obvious. I don't know exactly what bearing this may have but this is a brand new computer bought within the past month. Anyone recognize the issue? Thanks EDIT issue resolved attachments removed my gratitude to vsub
