It's the same hack as you are using on AT1 right?

I have both games, and I have saves in practically every area for both games as well(I make saves like crazy). I could quite easily test it.

I maybe have found a better solution. I'm very close to correct rendering. Please find the patch is attachment. There are 2 hacks
1/ the previous one: UserHacks_align_sprite_X
2/ the better one (2x only): UserHacks_stretch_sprite_X

Edit: I posted a new version.

By the way, I tested without the filter option (in my opinion this option must be disabled for sprite rendering accuraccy).

I computed a formulae to extend the latest hack to support all upscaling (+ filtering of standard primitive). Only 2x is pixel perfect (which is consistent with the math). Unfortunately others scaling (3x/4x) are better but not yet perfect. I'm not sure I can do better. Anyway I will clean my code and commit this latest hack.

Next round will be a new look at ace combat/colin3. If someone have some GS dump for tekken and others game that have massive vertical line so I can give it a look. Thanks.

I know AC5 has vertical lines. I can do a GS dump for that if needed.

I have an ace combat dump (squadron leader). Is it the same?

Edit: by the way, the 2D strech texture hack was commited.

Nice, I'll be checking it out momentarily. Good job!

I guess I'm not doing something right. I compiled the latest GSdx, set UserHacks_stretch_sprite_X=1 in gsdx.ini, made sure HW hacks was enabled.

No change.

Edit: Oh also with filtering off. Still no change.

remove the _X
Quote:UserHacks_stretch_sprite = 1

Edit: yes I love changing option name Wink Hack does both X and Y so I feel it was better without the _X

Ahh yes. Yeah it works perfectly at 2x. Pretty well at 4x. Not so well at 3x. But that makes sense that it would do better on 2 and 4(half pixel * even number = full pixel?)

Also is it forcing filtering off? When I have it on even setting full tick box in filtering does nothing. I mean it's fine if it does, I am just curious.
