After the cutscene starts, the game freezes and I get this message in the logs:

then, every few seconds:

I don't have any cheats or hacks enabled. I did, however, try once with "Ignore DMAC writes when it is busy." to no avail.
Also, I have had basically no problems with Gladius thus far. It's the first time I've encountered an issue like this.

Save states creates a 100% copy of the current state of the emulation
What this mean is,if a bug if triggered,that bug will also be saved into the same state
Save states is a nice feature but don't rely too much on them to keep your progress,use them as a save in between normal save points
Also there are some games that don't like this...create a save state=>save to the memory card=>load the save state=>the memory card may become unusable(cannot be accessed by the game)

Using savestates constantly is like never turning off your console, even for PCs corruptions start to creep in after awhile.
