To play GoW2 you need use the GSdx plugin in software mode or change your S.O to Vista for play on DX10-Hardware mode,
In software mode the fps are 10-20 (30 with luck =O)

I got Vista 64 tryed in DX10-Hardware mode and still is green..dont know why
I need to play in Hadrware because in software its unplayable just too slow
Does somone got solution for this?

Hello,

I was playing GOW very well until the second boss of the game : the dog machine.
The game freeze every time after 5 min of battle...is there something to tune for this scene ?
I'am really disapointed to not be able to play further .

The dog machine? There is no dog machine in Gow. Oh you mean the minotaur. The mythological beast that Thesseus (in the original Greek mythology) slayed. Anyway you must use both the latest pcsx2 beta emulator and the latest Gsdx plugin and you wont have problems (I believe).

On an Athlon 4000+ and Win XP SP3 DX9 it still crashes after the Prometheus video on God of war 2. So it still doesn't work for everyone.

It doesn't for me in PAL-version.

Hey, since when the PAL version is working ? I tested it one month ago and it didn't work (freeze at first cutscene with zeus with a white screen)

Thank you for your concern, I have googled as Bin Gang mentioned and found the modified GsDX , now my GOW 2 is full HD @ 60 FPS

What is it for ? It still doesn't allow to finish GOW ... problem of white screen at the end .

Its used to fix the graphic problems for both GOW2 and GOW1. For the white screen, I think it's not a graphic related issue so it's nothing to do with the GSdx plugin. U've to use a movie skip patch instead.

I have a problem.
I beated Colossus from inside and get from its mouth. A movie enteres and locks PCSX2. So I skipped it with patch browser> skip mpeg . It skips movie and then Kratos walks injured . I walk towards the sword but nothing happens. Kratos runs through it and there should enter a cut scene instead . What should I do?
