Hello,
For compatibility, I attached the exported save files for the game (gow2mymc.7z) I have using the mymc tool, I exported in both formats (.psu/.max),
so if you could use this : It's memory card slot 1, 2/10 which has: "Ascension of Atlas" Nov 25, 2018 21:20:50 (date might be wrong, disregard). If you could pass this level, to the next level Great Chasm level and save it right at the beginning (it has a check point), and then export in the same way using mymc, and upload it here, it will be much appreciated.
Can someone please take the save game I provided for the Atlas level from Mymc, and use it to play the level, so you can save the next level checkpoint and upload it here? Or perhaps you already have the save game to provide.
I'm trying to bypass a glitch that some members here think it's because I have a single layer vs double layer, but I don't buy it until I try it myself! So a save game will settle this question once and for all.
Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

Note: If you're going to say something about having "CDVD Disk Open: DVD, Single layer or unknown" that I won't be able to complete the game, like you said in: https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-please-d...#pid592610
Then I want to say that at that original thread which was for God of War 1, I was able to finish the game despite having that message there too, and again, I'm just asking for a save game or a snap slot for the next level.
redump your DVD anyways, you didn't dump it correctly.
use imgburn to do so.
and load from memcard instead of savestate. I completed this game easily long ago.
Asking for a savestate won't lead you anywhere, asking for a memcard will end up in the same issue since a memcard from a correctly dumped version won't be compatible with what you did.

Why asking for a save state won't lead anywhere? Is that also not compatible? I saw some people exchange here save game files from different versions and adjusting to their version with a special tool. I just don't want go through the hassle of redump/etc and start playing all over again to this point. Just trying to see if I can bypass this issue somehow. Plus last time you also said in the other thread that I won't be able to complete the game, and I was able to, so I don't know if I can trust what you say 100%, sorry.

because it depends on plugins used, pcsx2 version, sometimes hadware too.
Quote: I saw some people exchange here save game files from different versions and adjusting to their version with a special tool.
true. if you want to use this tool, it can work (or not)

Believe what you want, kiddo.
you may had luck last time and found someone who had a "toxic patched" savegame. But i never heard of this for gow 2.

if you redump from the exact same DVD using imgburn, CRC won't change, and you won't need to replay the whole game again.

Most users are using different versions of PCSX2 and savestates aren't compatible in the different versions. If you use Mymc to export your save file that you can upload to the Web, that should suffice what you need. Also, you might need to redump the game to make sure you can complete the game correctly. Try reading the disc at a slow speed, check for read errors during the process and clean the disc prior to dumping.

Ok, I attached to the original post the exported files from Mymc, are you able to use it to pass the level and upload the next level checkpoint?
