Gran Turismo 4 (NTSC) is playable. [HOWTO] Best config to enjoy it.
CPU is more important then GPU Bory, and as far as I know the difference between 68xx and 78xx isn't that huge, but there is some.

I also use no speedhacks, only recommended stuff, and the 3+ core speedup.

Not touching it until full logitech steering wheel support is in, as well as the in-game brightness issue gets fixed.

Brightness is easily fixed with combination from build-in Shade Boost+ custom shader(Colored FXAA). Menu is f*ucked up but in game is 1:1 with original game.

Hello.

Is there some special config with GT4 so Lilypad plugin (pressure sensitive) buttons are working? Brake works, and of course the analog sticks but not defaults X for accelerate and triangle for reverse, they're either off or on. I do have PS2 console itself, also GT4 but ps2 games do not look nice on a LCD tv, so that's why im trying it on a pc and ps2 emulator (pcsx1.0.0 but I also tried 0.9.8). In Gran turismo 4, in the license tests pressure sensitive acceleration is "a big must". I do not have adapters, I'm using PS3 six-axis controller with motionjoy software, works pretty well as joypad too on pc games.

edit: this info [ http://www.motioninjoy.com/wiki/en/game/guide/pcsx2 ]I used to try to get pressure sensitive, mostly works though, but in GT4 i think its the gas pedal that is not working. Testing device in plugin etc do work, but not in game itself.

You will be limited to what you can do with the pressure sensitive gas and brake inputs using LilyPad. You will have to wait until the developers emulate the Logitech steering wheels properly, but first they need to emulate the USB port functionality.

Hello, i got some small annoying problems with gt4 on pcsx2,
first the intermediate time that pops up on the middle of the screen during a race doesn't show anything, so i can't see if i'm catching a car or not. I'm just seeing the car concerned, but the time itself isn't written.
Second in licences the ghost is bugged, it doesn't move normally like it should. This problem isn't so much of a deal.
Otherwise, game runs nicely

Thanks in advance

awildo - I found solution with time to car, set Clamping Mode to Full in EE/IOP Smile
