yes. you only have 1 thread for software rendering. so...
With an oced i7 (7threads for software mode) it's quite different. so I think it is possible to play at okay fps...

What do you mean one thread? Doesn't GSDX use 2 if selected?

If i am not mistaken pcsx2 uses 2 threads one for graphic and one for the other things, GSDX in Software mode give you the option to use more than 1 thread to graphic but of course you need to have 4 core cpu or i7 to use more than 1 thread.

Hey all of U I have completed god of war 2 in software mode and all works fine and there no problem occure It fully playable and U have to get a best computer which supports sse4.1 and minimum 4 cores cpu. understand. I win this completed on pcsx2 haa.a.a.a.a
I think no one can completed yet hahahahahahahahahahaha

Hahahahahaha. This isn't a competition kid. Have a warning. And no God of war 2 can NOT be completed with PCSX2 at this point,so you're talking crap.

What prove do U want for this I kill the zeus and all the last movie it plays because i have already completed gow2 6 times in ps2. but in pcsx2 only cradits are not shows after the final movie.
