Hi new poster to these forums, need some help with PCSX2.
My PCSX 2 only runs 30-40 frames while playing Yu-Yu Hakusho Dark Tournament ISO. I have reset the settings all to defaults to try and fix the problem but it was to no avail. I've also tested Wild Arms 3 and 4 and it drops to 40 frames during some battles and down to 10 during cut scenes. Any ideas to help speed up my games?
Specs:
Windows 8.1
Intel core i7
Nvidia GeForce 770M 3G
24 GB RAM

Set your power plan to High performance. Play while plugged in.
Also which i7?

2.4 ghz may be a bit weak for pcsx2.
what do the ee% & gs% say when you get slowdowns ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X

EE% hovers around 30%-35%
GS% is at 99%
Frames are at 25-30 in skirmish mode in Dark Tournament

GS indicates a GPU maxing out, try software mode?

He has a 770M which should be plenty, and the GS% is the CPU side of the GS anyway, as I understand. I suspect maybe he has set resolution too high. Also maybe try MTVU.

MTVU was enabled and resolution is at 640x480, and still no change in the frame rate or any of the other values.

I'd say your CPU is struggling in this case.
Try monitoring its activity using CPU-Z while playing

try 384x384, see how the speed is (it WILL be blocky)
