I don't have a save right now, but I know it happens in the Mai Magus, Pellgri and Virgil boss battles.

Next time I encounter another boss again, I'll let you know. Smile

Little giant, many thanks for your great patches! Especially for Godannar patch!
May I ask if all the patches are for the games' Japanese verison?
Also, could you help to make patches for Gundam games?

Thanks again!

Gungrave Overdose (PAL)

I would like request this games please, thank you:

Legend of Kay (PAL). - It have a NTSC-U patch, but can't be ported to PAL.
NBA Street 3 (PAL)
Code of the Samurai (PAL)
Sub Rebellion (PAL)
Eternal Poison (NTSC-U)

Best regards.

Thanks for that Smile Although the patch causes all speech text to overflow the text boxes. You can see that in the in game dialogue and even in the first checking for memcard screen. Attaching 2 shots

I'll take a look. Perhaps there's a font width address somewhere.
I also notice that there seems to be a weird matrix of lines in the after screenshot.

Oh yes, i forgot to mention this problem of the texts boxes of
the game Gungrave Overdose, i don't remember now if the first
Gungrave have the same problem.
And probably the NTSC-U version have the same problem because
like the PAL uses the matrix hack, but i don't know how to fix it.

Regards.

@Little giant @whitoxx

Would it be possible for one of you to post a numbered list of which Gundam games you're most eager to have widescreen hacks for (ordered from highest to lowest priority)?

There's over 30 Gundam PS2 games out there (probably significantly more if you count regional variants and "cameo" games). Four of them are currently in the request list, but probably use different game engines. So, knowing which games to prioritize could be helpful to anyone that decides to look into creating widescreen hacks for them.

I noticed Gundam: True Odyssey (MS Saga: A New Dawn) uses the RenderWare game engine... If FOVs are set in the same manner across all RenderWare-based games (super likely), it probably wouldn't be that hard to find other RenderWare games that already have widescreen hacks, see how they were done, then adapt them to True Odyssey.

My main focus on widescreen hacking so far has been on an few specific developers' games (Incognito/Eat Sleep Play and Sandlot), as well as ChanDive. So I can't make any promises as to if/when I'll look into any Gundam games.

Edit: Changed quoted post to correct one.
