Because it's working on mine, but the "code" is a little messy... Dynasty Warriors 2 (NTSC-U) SLUS-20079 5B665C0B.pnach (Size: 642 bytes / Downloads: 645) edit. updated, it was a little glitchy. 4A35E19F.pnach (Size: 151 bytes / Downloads: 856) This one is Dynasty Warriors 3 (NTSC-U) SLUS_20277 Sometimes the floor is missing, I don't know if it's engine-related (it's the same "bug" from DW2) updated with sergx's values for the rendering, no more missing floor. thanks sergx.
I'm going to attempt to get widescreen working for SOS - The Final Escape.
I'm having some problem with the North American version of Siren
The code in this (http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-PCSX2-Wid...#pid251918) post (for the Japanese version) it's like this Code: gametitle=Siren SCUS_973.55 But I can't look for 3C023F40 and I can't find the correct value. Is the code broken?

But I suspect that you must also have misunderstood that release, since the patch you quoted (from the release archive "ws patches 09-11-2012.zip" by sergx12) is DEFINITELY intended for the US release of the game, NOT for the japanese version like you seem to believe. All games whose ID starts with "SCUS" or SLUS" are US releases. Japanese releases usually have a "P" as the third letter in their ID, such as SCPS, SLPS, SLPM, etc. As for seeking the value "3C023F40" in the original ISO, or its ELF, or even in its runtime RAM, doing so would be pointless. That value is what the patch code inserts in place of the original value at the address "00201718" of this US release of the game. In order to seek for a corresponding address in another release of the same game you would need to know what the original value in this US release was at the address "00201718". Then you could search for that value in the other releases of the same game, in the hope of finding the proper address to patch in such releases (assuming you can eliminate duplicate search 'hits'). But it doesn't work. And I'm using the exact version listed (SCUS_973.55) |
