Hi, i own a nice computer, never had any problem running games, i`m sone with portal 2, mafia 2, brink and downloading fable III.

i'm tryin THUG2 on the pcsx, and it doesnt run.

i have a nvidia gt560i, im sure any game will run but, when the intro is finally out, i get this message on the console:

GIFTAG warning, size exceeded VU memory size 400

WTF? lol everything is configurated well...

any help?

From the compatibility list.

While that report is for an older version of the emulator, if you're still only getting the intro in 0.9.8 it's probably pretty safe to say the game simply doesn't work yet.

You could trying using a software renderer, and see if it passes the intro.
Also, is the intro a video? You could try the Gamedix for skipping videos.

But, yeah-- There's a good chance it just don't work at this time.
(BTW - You can ignore that GIFTAG warning.)

i get the giftag error when booting the ps2 bios. well, it doesn't cause any problems. can't you get past the video. get the latest svn.

use the sse4 gsdx.

Thanks everyone, it seems to be a compatibility problem, it doesnt skip the intro, but when i try the final fight night round 3 it works perfectly, and with the DMC3 too, so i think its the game

It could be a driver issue.

you could try ticking the "Skip MPEG hack" in the gamefixes section, that might sort it.
