Rogue Galaxy disappearing text.

Hey guys.

I've run into a problem while emulating Rogue Galaxy and can't see to find a way to fix it. The game was running fine until I got about an hour into the game, where you leave the first planet. After boarding the ship most of the game text seems to have become garbled. I've searched around and have found other people with the issue but their solutions, when they posted them, didn't work for me.

I've tried changing most of the options and haven't found anything to fix it yet. I also thought that because it was working fine at first it might have been a corruption in the .iso I downloaded. So I went ahead a ripped my own copy of the game and decided to try again with several of the solutions I'd heard.

I'd heard people say the problem was related to save states and the version of PCSX2 they were using. I was using r5350.

So I got a different version of PCSX2, now using r5452, didn't use any save states and kept all setting default bar the ones I attached. And still as soon as I left the planet the text again became unreadable. If anyone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

I think you need 8-bit tex for RG. but I'm not positive

Yeah, I saw someone saying that worked for them, but not for me.

Press F9 during the game.

F9 also does nothing to fix it and it slows gameplay down to a crawl. This would work in menu's, if it did work, but I need to read text in active battles as well.
