This might work (didn't test) for msxml3, though 1. this is the sdk, but might also include the runtime and 2. I don't think it's a distributable... http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/...px?id=4608

I have OSX Lion with X11 already installed. Will there be any problem or conflict if I also install XQuartz?

I don't think it needs XQuartz. It worked for me also without it (after I uninstalled it).

Okay, so your basic problem was that as soon as you hit Run, it crashes, right?

Have you tried any other games besides that one?

I don't have a mac or anything, and the WineSkin port seems hit or miss for now.

What's your hardware?

Everytime i try to run dark cloud 2 the emulator opens the game window then shuts down :/


how do i get this to work with the latest download? I'm on OSX 10.9.1

The latest build I uploaded doesn't include everything Wine needs and doesn't include the Nvidia Cg Toolkit until we figure out the best way to get those included in the bundle. I'm working on more detailed download instructions. Check out the first post; I'll have something up there soon.

i actually had installed both the nvidia framework and the QuartzX11 prior to downloading the latest build, the last build i used set the GS to the Zero plugin by default, i actually got the games to run but the framerate was unbearable :/

Yeah, getting it to run at all was a big thing, so now we're working hard to make it run well, and we're making progress. The Nvidia framework needed for this recent build isn't the one for OS X. It's the Windows one that gets installed inside of PCSX2-CE so that the GSdx video plugin (which is much better than Zero) will run.

Is it? AFAIK the CG tooklit is only for zerogs-CG.
