It's probably supposed to look like that.
This game supports German, doesn't it?
So use German if you have difficulties with English.

The text doesn't upscale, it only looks right in native resolution.

I heard that forced bilinear filtering might help. Unless its the same thing as default Bilinear (PS2)

no, it just make it more blurry

such a disapointment, there's a lot of text in this game and is annoying to play like this
