XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
I finally figured out exactly what my issue was and unfortunately I have no idea how to fix it.

The service that is installed with the program will not start anymore; instead I receive an error message stating "The SCP DS3 Service on Local Computer started then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs"

Does anyone have a solution?

Thank You in advance.

@alertdotexe: the Service will not start if the Windows Event Log service is not running. Check in the Services applet.
Got a new PC and can't get it working... again...
But the problem doesn't seem to be SCP itself...
I got win7 pro x64, latest version of SCPDrivers (1.2.0.160), an original DS3 controller + a ASUS BT400 USB stick...

Under [SCProductions.NTx86] and [SCProductions.NTamd64] add the line
%DeviceName% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0B05&PID_17CB
then save it and install the software with "force install" checked. I manage to connect both my DS3 wireless and they both worked without any problems.
I have this software installed on Windows 7 x64.
This did not work, but Post #1851 worked, so bluetooth is working.

according to SCPUser.exe all buttons are working properly...

The problem now is pcsx2 and lilypad...
I tried the most current beta r5928, also beta r5721 and stable 1.0.0 (i had them lying around), all have the same problem...

I went to ScpServer\bin\Win32 and copied XInput1_3.dll into the pcsx2 directory (where pcsx2.exe is) and also copied LilyPad-Scp-r5875.dll into the plugins directory...
there i got this error:

Quote:Path: C:\pcsx2-5928-windows-x86\plugins\LilyPad-Scp-r5875.dll
File is not a valid dynamic library.
Some kinda plugin failure: C:\pcsx2-5928-windows-x86\plugins\LilyPad-Scp-r5875.dll

then I copied an old dll that I had lying around (LilyPad-Scp-r5350.dll) and that one worked...

but DS3 native mode is greyed out "DualShock 3 native mode (Requires SCP XInput dll)"

As I said XInput1_3.dll is in the directory... I also checked system32 and syswow64, they both have a XInput1_3.dll and a XInput9_1_0.dll... (they have different sizes though)

I closed SCPUser.exe and I connected the DS3 before opening pcsx2...

so.. how do i fix it..

Ah, that's a bit unfortunate. I was hoping to be able to play around with that feature and perhaps fix a few port's that simply didn't transition well. Thank you for the information anyway.

@Scarlet.Crush it says on the device manager: USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001&REV_0134

I'm facing a problem sometimes with bluetooth.

When i start my computer i see sometimes the bluetooth icon in the taskbar (shouldn't be visible when you use SCPDrivers) i have to rerun scpdriver with force install and it works
i trying to repair the damage caused by this driver and no one here still have not given me information, this supposedly safe program destroyed my driver hid or something, every time I turn on my computer tells me it failed to install the device and device administrator shows many devices I can not fix, these are hID compatible devices i supose,
i will return with better ds3 or motionjoy, that software are anoying but never make me problems
First: Superthanks for the latest update with the fake-controller support!
Second: It doesn't work for me Sad It end up in BTH 0000000 None and after a while it goes to reserved. I checked the loggs but nothing that I understood, but guessing it's something with "ServiceByPass [00:26:5C:97:05:05 - PLAYSTATION®3 Controller]". I have tried reinstalling all also, didn't work.
My real (non-fake) controller works without any problems.

Hopefully someone can help me.

Edit: While comparing the logs from my real controller and my fake controller the fakecontrollers stops before "L2CAP_Connection_Request [02] PSM [01]"

Hey guys, I'm having some problems getting the driver to work, and I'm assuming it's because of Motioninjoy. My problem is that the driver does not detect my controller at all, and at first I had assumed that I had installed it incorrectly, giving up. Recently, I tried using a friend's controller, which connected and worked instantly(I confirmed that his controller is connected through the XBOX driver, not the motioninjoy one). I think the problem is caused by Motioninjoy because I had used the Motioninjoy driver on my controller before, but my friend had never used his controller on a PC until now. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
