XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller

All the SCP tools say "Host Address : Disconnected" and there is nothing listed in the Zadig tool, even when telling it to list all items.

It seems like the bluetooth controller doesn't go over USB:

Device Instance Path: ACPI\RTK8723\4&2DA6132D&0&4097
Compatible IDs: MS_BTHX_BTHMINI

If that's the case, does that mean there's no hope of getting SCP to work over bluetooth? Has anyone succeeded in something like this before?

Has anyone come around with a solution for this situation?

I'm trying to setup a Intel Computer Stick as well to stream games into it so I can play on my living room without having to take my desktop over there. I got everything set up, the only thing that's missing is getting the internal Bluetooth to comunicate with the controler. I'd use a USB dongle but the problem is that it only has 2 USB entrances and they are both being used. It can't make use of a USB hub unless it is a powered one because it doesn't have enough power to split among more USB ports by itself.

If any more informations about the system is needed to resolve this issue feel free to ask me for them, I'll be more than happy to cooperate.

Thanks in advance,

I got it to work (though I didn't even attempt to apply the update didn't want to mess it up...)

And I've been playing in the emulator with this fantastically, it works great!! Biggrin

Though today I switched my usb port (out of two in the front of my computer I switched the place I used the controller till now.)

And tried the server and it just didn't do what is usual (instead of the 1 LED light it did something different).

I got pretty nervous and tried the driver and pairing (to the remote not the local)
but it just didn't work even when I tried those things again on the usb port I used that worked till today it still didn't work,

and when I test it (the controller) when I activate the server with the remote in the "Devices & Printers" in the control panel and you should see a "PLAYSTATION®3 Controller" AND an "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows".
Right clicking the Xbox controller icon and selecting "Game Controller Settings" > Properties
(which before today worked and reacted to all of my inputs)

Can anyone help me get it to work again? thanks Smile
Is it possible to swap the triggers, so that Left Trigger corresponds to L1, and the bumper corresponds to L2, and same with the right side?
I uninstalled in the driver and installed again with the controller plugged in the usb port it worked on,

and now I have on that controller the 1 LED again though it still isn't working
(I tested it with the server, which has usual and supposed to, it notifies me of the removal and arrival of the DS3 but in the control panel testing it still doesn't do anything Sad )

Can anyone help me get it to work again? thanks Smile

On the SCP Server, nothing is connected, while I could previously see the Pad 1 as reserved.
After that, I wanted to use the gamepad on Android so I changed the 'Master' with Sixaxis Pair Tool. Is it why I can't see any gamepad under SCP Server? Anyway, before I changed the master, I could see the gamepad as reserved but I couldn't use it so I don't think I messed up much here.

Did you stopped scp ds3 service in windows services before running scp server? because scp server has its own service and it will conflict with scp ds3 service in windows services if its running. Showing disconnected host address and/or pad is because of conflict.

Sorry I don't see any "Master" option in Sixaxis Pair Tool but AFAIK the Sixaxis app shouldn't make your controller unusable on PC. It just writes mac address into controller memory when paired so it can connect to android. You can try using the reset hole though.

I have not come across Windows 10 but to answer to your query, you cannot use scpserver as service. It has its own service and only works when foreground and when closed service is closed. Check above for more info on how scpserver works.

Actually you have to use scp ds3 service that is in Windows services (It has to run automatically on boot up by default) and scpmonitor to know the status of bt dongle and controller. Incase scp ds3 service is not present (this is what I believe is the problem of yours) in windows services or not able to run, you have to try uninstalling and reinstalling on scp driver. May be the service is not installed properly.
How to modify ScpControl.dll to make fake DS3 controller working through Bluetooh
(This trick doesn't work for all fake controllers including those that show "Remote [00:00:00:00:00:00]" in log.

Yes, now I see the gamepad on SCP Server but I can only use it by USB. As soon as I unplug the cable, the 4 LEDs start blinking and nothing pairs up.

I also attached a capture of the "Change Master" thing even if it's not related to my problem I guess.

I've a strange issue.
It works fine via bluetooth, but when I plug the USB cable it stop working.

How can I charge it?
It's an original DS3.
Could I install inputmapper and this at the same time? Would it screw up any drivers?

Also is there a way to test latency?
Hey folks...I'm really sucking at this. I was looking for an alternative for DS3 tool so I tried this out...it installed all the drivers correctly I believe, but where do I bind keys to my controller? My ps3 controller is just connected via USB. In my controller panel it says I'm using an Xbox 360 controller (i assume that's correct)...also there's constantly a "safely remove hardware" icon on my windows dashboard. Better DS3 doesn't detect any DS3 controllers (shrug)

If all else fails, can I undo everything completely? edit: I was able to roll back to a different restore point on windows, so I'm back to how things were before I started messing with all these drivers. Would still like to use a working alternative to DS3 tool, which is causing BSODs Smile
I'm having an issue where the controller seems to stop working randomly. I'll be playing with my DS3 using the SCP drivers just fine, until it randomly stops responding, forcing me to unplug my controller and then plug it back in for it to work again. Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know what might cause this to happen??
