XInput Wrapper for DS3 and Play.com USB Dual DS2 Controller
My Controller Pairs, installed the driver, shows up in the GamePad control panel as a 360 controller but none of the controls do anything?

BTH DS3 Device:
USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001&REV_1593
USB\VID_0A12&PID_0001

The controller eventually turns off after a few mins, or if I move it out of range like the other end of the house, still stays in the Controller Control Panel app as a 360 controller

Scarlet.Crush, one more question.

Would you be kind enough to say how to make rumble work in Gran Turismo 4 with pcsx2?

cheers

@Scarlet.Crush
Thanks a lot for this wonderful tools and drivers.
I want to point out something about the motion sensor of the DS3. I used to use the motionjoy to emulate the xbox360 controller to play NFS Shift. However, it hard to play it using the DS3 sticks therefore i have changed the left stick X axis with the motion sensor. So now i have a xbox360 controler + motion sensor.
My question is if you could add a function like this to the drivers you have created because i like them more then the motionjoy. Moreover i think this trick would be useful as it continuos to emulate a xbox360 controller.
P.S: I have really little knowledge about drivers and staffs like that.

Scarlet.Crush, I am sorrry for posting my message again, but could you please answer my question? ;(

Scarlet has addressed this. Because Xinput recognizes an xbox controller as an xbox controller and not a series of inputs that can be mapped to an xbox controller you can't add in more axis or joysticks than there are in the preset xbox controller. Just mapping it to the right stick is no good, there are six axis' that need to be mapped (3 accelerometers, 3 gyroscopes) and they all can't be mapped to the stick's 2 axis'

MotioninJoy does this just fine (i.e. mapping controller tilt to stick input while emulating a 360 controller - and you can also remap any button you wish), so it's definitely possible, but it of course requires another layer of software between the DS3 input and the 360 controller emulation.
I think access to all of the DS3 features would be nice. And there is probably no problem adding them to already present extension API that provides pressure sensitivity.
Hello,
I am sorry for asking this question, yet I don't exactly have time to get through 80 pages of posts.

Could anyone please tell me step-by-step how to play with this?
As in, I have completely no idea about any emulators/coding on this, and I don't understand if I need the PCSX2 or not to play this with any games. (Specifically, with Dark Souls PTDE)
I don't even have an idea what that Lilypad is...
So, I am a complete newbie on this one with no experience at all..

Although I tried installing this..
Yet I can't seem to get it to work in-game.

My apologies if this question offended someone.
I will be very grateful for any help.

Also, MotioninJoy sucks.
Well if motioninjoy does this, AND that, maybe use it instead? Smile sounds like a great driver.
/s

Seriously though, I've never seen motionjoy do motion controls while acting as an Xbox controller at the same time. The two act as two seperate modes. Xbox 360 controller mode does just that: act like a Xbox 360 controller. The other mode is specifically play station 3 controller mode, which does motion as well as regular button input, but in that mode it is not seen as an Xbox 360 controller. Alot of games would have to be manually configured, and Scarlet's driver is nice not only for its stability and no extra bullcrap and headaches that came with motioninjoy (serious scarlet, THANK YOU for this), but the convenience. I get wanting to add the extra funcionality, but scarlet has stated already several times that he has no current interest in motion controls.

The other thing is that because of the way Xbox controller mode works, if it is possible to add motion controls on top of Xbox controller support, it would require the motion controls to be seen as another controller input, the same as plugging in an extra controller. While SOME programs/emulators can be customized to see this, alot of PC games are designed to only see 1 controller at a time, and as such would not see both inputs from Xbox mode AND Motion controls.

Seriously, be thankful for what we got. Smile
Would you mind adding my hardware id?

USB\VID_03F0&PID_231D&REV_0165
USB\VID_03F0&PID_231D

Thank you.
