Yes.
Use 0.9.8 since 0.9.6 isnt supported anymore. As i said, 2 player mode is demanding and your cpu/gpu may not be enough fo it. I say "may" because you never gave your specs...

What's your CPU and GPU? Use the latest SVN for dbz bt 3 : pcsx2 svn
Its quite better and improves speed and qaulity. Try using Frameskip of 1 to draw and 2 to skip. It gives huge speedup without breaking any game. Also, change the Windows Power Mode to High Performance.

I don't think so. Latest svns are more accurate, and good with CPUs which have more than 2 cores...

i so, forget about overclocking, you'll fry your laptop. If it's a desktop, maybe. But don't expect miracles since old AMD cpus aren't easily overclockable. As tallbender said, play it on your PS2 until you can afford a better PC.
