Hello,

I've just started using PCSX2. I'm having trouble playing final fantasy 12, though. I get between 45 and 66% of what the maximum frame rate. Here's my setup:

Computer specs:

Windows 7, 64 bit
Intel core 2 duo (2.1 ghz, 800MHz FSB)
NVIDIA Geforce GT 130M Graphics Card (with 1 gig of memory)
4 GB memory

PCSX2 config:

Graphics: GSDx 1873 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.15
Resolution: 1280x720
Renderer: Direct3D10 (Hardware)
No interlacing
Native unchecked
Allow 8-bit textures, wait vsync, and enable output merger... all checked
Sound: ZeroSPU2
Time scaling and real time mode both checked.
Everything else unchecked.
Cdvdrom: Linuz Iso 0.9.0
Cpu: Everything checked, frame limiting used
Speed Hacks: x2 cycle rate
all three boxes checked.

Is my PC simply not strong enough to achieve better frame rates than what it is currently getting? Any suggestions?
Try enabling more speedhacks and set "VU cycle stealing" to moderate then disable "allow 8-bit textures" and check the "native" option in GSdx. Other than that sorry but your PC isnt that great should be getting more speed tho.
Yep, simply not strong enough. (As most notebooks, really. They're not powerful enough to run pcsx2 fullspeed.)
Alright, thanks guys Smile
running it at native would give a bit of a boost. I know I'm pulling close to full speed on a 2.2 but it's a desktop
