Only issue I believe stopping me from playing is an error I get when I try to Run CD/DVD. "Set cooperative level error" occurs and the emulator crashes. Fixes for this?

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

there is no pcsx2 1.00.48
use latest stable or latest SVN

Can only assume I did something wrong (new to this). I used the second link you sent. After it's downloaded and comes up in winrar what should I do?

where did you get that?

updated it but it still says it's .0.9.2 (I misspoke earlier with the 1.00.48). anyway I used the the first link but it still says 0.9.2 afterwards and I'm still getting the same error. any other thoughts/suggestions on the matter?

is this some kinda sick joke?.....show us your desktop "Print screen" or ALT+print screen your pcsx2 launcher you just ran.
