Hello

Im completely new to playing PS2 games on my PC. I have followed the guides available and have been able to successfully get Smackdown HCTP to work.

The problem i am now having is trying to download a max drive save and use it in game. I have tried using the save converter, burning the image and copying the files using ELF.

I always end up with the same result. A maxdrive HCTP save on my memory card that doesnt do anything. I know i must be doing something wrong. I somehow need to convert it so the memory card reads it as a loadable save.

I have tried converting the maxdrive file to a psu before i load it with elf, but i always get the same result.

I have also tried using mymc but again the same result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, ive tried with and without mymc. Still can't get it to work.

Does the save appear on the memcard? If it does, make sure you are converting a save for the same game region your game is.

Ah cheers man, i forgot my replacement ps2 had come from the USA. I was using European saves.

Works perfectly now
