I've completely reinstalled my PC, a nd after downloading the latest beta version it does not recognise my Directx 10, even though before it did. I have it installed, when I run dxdiag it says I have the latest version of Directx. In r1888 version which I copied before the reinstall and then put it back into the PC (so it's not "installed" officially and in the registers) I can select DX10 GS, so it works, however in 0.9.7 (which is installed and is in the registers) I can select only DX9 GS.
How can I make the DX10 GS option appear in the 0.9.7?
I've got ATI Radeon 4850, Intel Core Duo CPU 3.00 GHz and Windows Vista (32 bit).

did you place your 0.9.7 version in a folder like my docs or program files ?

You're probably missing the vista platform update, check the first post in the GSdx thread for a link:

Thank you! That fixed it. I never thought there was a Vista update that you had to download separately and Windows updater woudln't downoad it by itself. Probably because of the verification.
