3D models Flickering? (Grandia Xtreme)
#1
Hi

I got a little issue emulating this rather obscure game of mine called Grandia Xtreme, it runs well at 62 FPS and the audio going fluent, but the thing is, everything that is 3D start flickering (more like blinking) like crazy, textures remain well but anything that is modeled 3D has issues.

Any ideas?

P.S Sorry if i posted on the wrong section in advanced, kinda wanted to make this thread before going away for a moment.

Right, i just thought of that as soon as i posted, my bad..

Here's a picture of my specs

(it's actually 4 GB of Ram)

I'm using PCSX2 0.9.8

To be fair i'm not fairly sure about what i did change... i only recall changing the core to Direct3D 11 since my video card can handle it.

I can go with both ISO or DVD since i own the physical copy, but i'm using an ISO that i ripped from the disc.

Yeah, I know about this bug. It's a problem with either PCSX2 or GSdx in how they do screen refreshes.
I think a really old GSdx revision works.
That or a really old PCSX2 one Tongue2

Well hopefully that's the problem, but sadly, i'm still on a loss.

I appreciate the the very fast response but i still need to fix this tiny annoyance.

What else can i give into details?

Nothing much.
You need to find really old (from 2008 or 2009) PCSX2 and GSdx releases and try those.
It works with one of these old builds.

GSDX 0.1.7 works fine for this. Check here : http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-GSdx
