60 fps codes

Someone please explain to me what these 60fps patches do...... When I play NTSC games most of them run at 60fps. PCSX2 showes it in the title bar... (or is it 30 becuase the vps is the real number?) what do I need a 60fps patch for then? I play a lot of games (NTSC) and they look and feel like 60fps without a patch....

Also someone asked "Can I use 60fps patch for 50fps PAL games" and the anwer was "NO". But I used 60fps patch for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2" for the PAL-Version and it DEFINITELY worked.

Hi there! Anyone have a code or can make a code for Sims Bustin' Out!? Would be pretty awesome if so. I believe it would be similar to sims 2 as it shares similarites with the widescreen patch? Im unsure. Thankyou a bunch! Playing the USA version also.

The FPS in PCSX2 is not entirely accurate most games for sure run at 30FPS but say 60 when running at full speed! You can defiantly notice the difference in many games with a trained eye.

ok now im confused...so guess i need a 60 fps patch for onimusha3, even tho it runs at 60 most times ..with drops here and there, also for dmc1? anyone got one for that also? both US version

If the game is running at 60fps but has drops it probably also happenes on a real Hardware. 
To fix that go to emulation settings then speed hacks and set EEcyclerate to 130% or 170% (test what is working the best for you)

Anyone been able to work on one for Gadget Racers [PAL] (Choro-Q HG 3) Since there is no NTSC port of this game, the only one that exists in English is the PAL version.

Hi guys,
I'm looking for a 60fps (or unlock framerate) code for the game "Panzer Front Ausf.B".
The game was released on PAL (SLES-52984) and NTSC J (SLPS-25354) but for some reason, it's locked at 15/20 fps on both versions...
Esppiral did a code for the first game on Dreamcast and it really improve the game.
I'd be glad if anyone is willing to help.
