We're supposed to be working as a team, if we aren't helping and suggesting things to each other, we aren't working as a team.

Ah ah, I better understand why people got a yellow name recently.

A couple of point.
* It is open to linux tester too.
* be able to generate useful backtrace is a welcome addition
* as Bosit said, lots of gui issue doesn't require any games
* Even testing "standard" games from time to time could help to spot any regression.

How bad is linux testing needed?

If you really need someone reliable badly, I can set up a dual boot and do some testing. I think Nobbs has the knowledge to set up that too, so he might could.

I'll have to nuke my Win10 partition and install debian, but I guess I could do that next week sometime if it's needed

Boot it from a USB Tongue2

Anyway I only mentioned it because I think there is a shortage of Linux testers, and I do have the knowledge to do that if it's needed badly.

On a side note, a couple years ago I was the unofficial tester/bug catcher/ patch applier guy for the Linux builds during when Gregory was ramping up efforts on Linux side.

Well you know, the more the merrier Smile

Seriously, even windows tests are very helpful but it would be better to have also a couple of linux tester. On my side, I don't do any test. It makes me sad but my free time is very limited. So I decide to offload all tests to users. It generates various regression but I manage to fix most of them Smile
