Yes but a share for PCSX2, emulation and the game I did not need (or little) other applications like Photoshop so that the i5 beat the phenom in other soft ^ ^
And then, one with two core i5 disabled (waiting for 3192 GHz in turbo boost) will be more effective than a dual core E8400 has the same frequency?.

Yep, more cache and so on will make it better i think.

I thought about PCSX2 there were only the frequency and SSE2 instructions, SSE4 that count?.

This is not a joke, the choice is difficult: /
But it is indeed so conclude, only for PCSX2 (and not for another soft) i5 is the best at 200 MHz apart (without overclocking)?

Honestly there's no contest here: i5 is the best option, unless you're an AMD fanboy, or more legitimately, you're seriously strapped for cash.
