Cheats load but don't work

I've checked everything i could, and i don't know whether I am stupid or just oblivious to what i am doing. PCSX2 will load the cheats(Saying so in the console), but when i enter the game it seems none of them have actually activated. Is this because the version of the game i am running is the demo version? Do i have to start a new game? Do i have to be a certain part in the game?

The game is Final Fantasy X

Here are two examples of my cheats:

//Al Bhed Fully Translated
patch=1,EE,3C28CDBF,extended,FBFFFFFF

//Infinite Gil
patch=1,EE,3C28CEF7,extended,85F19EFF

This is US version i am running too(As far as i am aware)


If anyone can help me to get cheats working in this game, it would be much appreciated.

Yeah, using a demo version is probably causing the issue.

It can be but there is another problem...those codes are definitely not raw
