How do I confirm that one way or the other?

And regarding the email notifications, I am not getting them either....let me know if you'd prefer me to PM you, since my ignorance seems to go way beyond the scope of the thread....

Naah, we'll take it here.

Also, can you install programs? Or use sudo?

i could not get this working.

i tried all your instructions.

firstly i noticed the instrictions in the first post don't have "alpha in them" for the new build so i renamed all files PCSX2 which were relavant (the .app app and the file in the macOS directory).

It still has the same problems....

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/pcsx2/lib/libwx_baseu-2.8.0.dylib
Referenced from: /Applications/pcsx2 0.9.7 Alpha.app/Contents/Resources/pcsx2/./pcsx2
Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap: 5
logout

[Process completed]

im getting this error Sad

when following instructions: bash-3.2$ cd /applications/pcsx2.app/contents/macos
bash-3.2$ sudo tcsh
Password:
[Aaruns-MacBook-ProTongue2csx2.app/Contents/MacOS] root# ./pcsx2
./pcsx2: Command not found.

Well, when you say new build, I am going to assume you mean the Mountain Lion one?
I will look around a bit, I remember hitting that error myself

Try the second guide in addition to the first, I think it should solve the problem

even when I try the second guide, when I type "chmod +x /applications/pcsx2.app/contents/macos/pcsx2" it says directory not found

how can i fix either of these problems
