For everyone with issues starting PCSX2 Mac
(02-07-2014, 12:28 AM)UnderOrange Wrote: I realized when trying to find what else to say that the system probably reads spaces as separations of commands, so I tried using underscores to replace the spaces in "pcsx2 0.9.7 Alpha". It yielded similar results.

I don't think it adds any new information.

Do you have suggestions of what I could bring up that would be helpful for you to gather information? Or just troubleshooting? Thank you a bunch for taking this time. I really appreciate it! I hope you have a nice day.

If I remember correctly, spaces are for adding variables and such to a command. Try
Code:
"applications/pcsx2 0.9.7 alpha.app"
Adding quotation marks makes it read it as a single variable, spaces or not.

But really, I recommend to just rename it to PCSX2.app, then you don't have to think about spaces and such Smile

That's the same picture... I suggest closing PCSX2, killing the application if necessary. Then try again, and if it doesn't work, close it again, open it up, and MOVE the console window so it becomes entirely visible before pressing OK. And then send me a new screenshot.
