GSdx: native resolution

Don't go too high with the resolution either!
Everything below 1024*1024 will really degrade the picture quality, everything above 2048*2048 can barely be recognized as improvement (but tends to break some effects + it's slow).

thx for the advice Rama!

Overall I think I should avoid tampering with it too much B/c Persona 4 (what I'm playing now) is a weird game, and gets random slow downs with different enemy types. I reconciled somewhere in the 1100s just so the slow-down parts aren't exacerbated

Better force some Multisampling AA using the driver. Supersampling AA like this is known to be very performance-demanding.

forcing AA is impossible in DX10 with my Nvidia card and probably even less successful with ATI. But also thanks for the advice @rama so I will stay with 2048x2048 maybe but 2720x1700 seems to run very smooth in FFXII aswell.

@antipunt
does PCSX2 actually use your SLI system?

How is forcing AA imposible with DX10 on an Nvdia card? Because I got mine to do it just fine.

if sli only works on the games nvidia make drivers to use it, do you think pcsx2 use it? for most cases sli and crossfireX doesn't improve enough for extra cash you spend ( and doesn't work on some games that are more than the games that work) and graphic cards with 2 graphic chips have advantage because the chips are close.

My 4870X2 uses SuperTiling for PCSX2 and AFAIK for any other game not specifically set to a different mode.

not seeing the advantage of having black squares in the image, so what is SuperTiling?

Obviously that is not the intended effect, was just an unlucky moment for a snapshot where only one part of the scene was rendered Glare
And no offence, but if you don't even know what CF and SLI do (the modes for starters, AFR, SuperTiling and Scissor mode), then how can you possibly make any assumptions about the performance gain and what it might be worth to other individuals?

multiple sites tests comparing diferent graphic cards and i didn't say X2 are bad they are better than 2 4780 in crossfireX and probably after much improvement they can be one of possible future of graphic card.
