Hey guys,

I have a P4 2.8 GHz, 1 GB RAM, Windows 7, DirectX 11, and a GeForce 6200 256 MB AGP. Total graphics memory: 506 MB.

I installed PCSX2 0.9.7. During first run it does not get past first time configuration wizard. First GSdx says to upgrade DirectX libraries. I do not upgrade because I already have DirectX 11, isn't that the latest? Then it says GSdx plugin does not support hardware or software. This happens same if I select D3D 10/11 hardware or software renderer in GSdx configuration. By default it is D3D 9 (Hardware).

Is there a hard requirement for DirectX 9 libraries? Will this get solved if I install from this link which gets opened up. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...laylang=en

With my hardware, will FF X run fine?

60, no more no less, well 50 for PAL games but any less will be VERY noticeable not unlike PC games, FYI.

Naoan is right, the point is the console is tied with TV standards and the temporizing is done in a frame basis, BTW the events are synchronized with the frames so every changing in the FPS output is translated in slowdown or overspeed, that applies to everything including the sound in most games.

No, beside your gpu your cpu is very weak, get a new system or play with your ps2.

Get atleast GeForce 8600.Thats the minimum.Recommended 9600GT or better
