i was trying to play silent hill 2 and i had bottom half screen black.
i've read only gsdx build 890 (from 0.9.6) dont have this problem (and it is indeed)
But it crash ingame.
newer versions of gsdx does not crash but have that glitch. Seems like an old problem. Why it has not been fixed?

write your problem in google code that will be better.
if you did it already and tired of waiting then understand the pcsx2 developer's they are trying the best to make the program perfect.
so you just have to wait !
don't forget write the isue in the google code, if you haven't.

Did you even read the link you just posted? It says there the hack is not included because it's not certain if it will break other games

There are some crashes I encountered on one ingame cinematic. It occurs on the one where you had take the photos of Metal Gear and Revolver Ocelot blows up the ship. One can get past the crashes if you select ZeroGS instead. I'm using PCSX2 0.9.7.r3113, GSdx-SSE4-r3623 and a fresh install of Windows 7 (x86) with up-to-date drivers.
Here's an image of the crash:
And here are several states before the different crashes:
1. State before crash (uploaded.to)
2. State before crash (uploaded.to)

yes i've read this. i am not a coder, but thought it is possible to do something like "if it is silent hill 2 then....
else (any other game)
use the usual gsdx code".
if it is impossible, never mind.

I have it on the plugins folder but it doesn't show up on plugin selection screen. If I force it on the pcsx2.ini it gives me an error when I load pcsx2 and take me to select another plugin.
And... another question, where can I download all gsdx revs? I can't see all of them on first post.
Thanks in advance : ]
have you tried redownloading or compiling that plugin? it might just be corrupt.
